More Than A Mouth Resources

This section contains resources from our More Than a Mouth programme, which was developed to support people living with persistent conditions affecting the face, mouth and jaw.

The programme is delivered over five sessions, with each session introducing practical strategies to help you manage the impact of persistent pain and other ongoing symptoms on your daily life.

Throughout the programme, you will explore skills that can help you:

  • Be more at peace with persistent pain and other unpleasant sensations.
  • Reduce the impact of unhelpful thoughts on your mood and behaviour.
  • Stay present in the moment.
  • Make choices that support your wellbeing.
  • Develop self-compassion.
  • Spend more time doing the activities that are important to you.

Below you will find the resources from each of the five sessions. You can work through them at your own pace and return to them whenever you need to.
